It’s time to answer the million dollar questions.. do I need a business email??!??! I honestly get this hot Q almost once a week and loaded with SO MUCH STRESS.

“SURE BUSINESS STRATEGY IS COOL & ALL, BUT MEGAN JUST TELL ME, DO I NEED A BUSINESS* EMAIL*”

*Business email = your name @yourcompanysname.com eg; megan@cocollaborate.com v.s. My very cool hotmail address: simply_lovin_life@hotmail.co.nz or yourcompany@gmail.com

I know you. I can see your heart rate is rising at the mere thought so I’m going to skip to the chase here and give you the answer: Yes, Yes you do need a business email. Stat.

Here is the answer to all your questions:

☝🏼When is the right time to get a business email?

As soon as you have a business but especially before you want to start sending marketing emails eg; Newsletters because it significantly effects your likelihood of ending up in spam.

☝🏼What in TF is a domain and how do I use it?

The domain is the part that is www.yourcompany.com it’s essentially your online address. You need to buy the domain you want (from GoDaddy) AND then connect it to an email provider such as G-Suite

☝🏼Why do you recommend G-Suite?

Lots of reasons but the top one is that it’s really universally used, easy to integrate and comes with so many incredible free tools eg; docs, slides etc which far outrank any competitors. You can also use chrome profiles which changed my life (but more on that later)

☝🏼What’s this gonna cost me?

Your domain will be a yearly fee of around $17.99 & then approx $10/month for G-Suite

☝🏼Will the world end if I just rock the free gmail?

No probably not, but you will seem less official & profesh & your emails may well end up in junk more often.

The real question is… are you ready to DTR with your business?

Technical stuff aside getting a business email is often the final step in DTR’ing with your business. It’s the energetic declaration that you are serious about this thing and you're committing to it. Don’t get a business email for every idea you have over dinner - but if you’re serious about your business it’s time you put a ring 💍(email) on it.

And if I lost you at the part where I said “domain” or you simply CBF’d with this admin BS, boy oh boy do i have solution for you…

(🥁 Drum roll please 🥁)

Introducing.. The Business Management Bundle

I used to teach people how to DIY their business email, I’m talking the step by step tutorial for…

Copy of [WORKING] INSTA POSTS (1).gif
  1. Buying a domain name from GoDaddy

  2. Creating a G-Suite Starter Account

  3. Setting up the MX records

  4. Setting up your Gmail with filters, labels and organisation hacks

  5. Creating a chrome profile

  6. Integrating all your google apps

  7. Setting up your password managers

  8. Blah blah more boring details blah… (you catch my drift it’s an onerous process)

What I found was that it took people weeks to get past the tech fear and get it working and it just became another thing they resisted and that got in the way of them owning their business and making a genuine impact.

So I created the Business Management Bundle for my fresh business homies so I could do the hard part for them. I connect up your domain, handle the heck out of your DNS records and throw in all my best practice organisation hacks while I’m at it so that your online office is operational and ready to rock.

And I do it all in 2 days not the 2+ weeks you’ll end up spending on live chat trying to work out what an MX record is.

And the best news? It’s only $250 NZD (+GST)

Sound like a bit of you?

Drop me a cheeky email below and we can hook you up with the Business Management Bundle and get you operational in no time.
